Early Activities for the New Bridgewater Bridge Project – April 2022

As part of the Early Activities for the New Bridgewater Bridge Project, site investigations are taking place across Bridgewater and Granton.

The work will help inform the final design for the new bridge and interchanges and will build on previous investigations in the area.

Work includes site investigations and land-based drilling to collect core samples from a number of locations.

Work is scheduled to take place from Thursday, 21 April 2022 within general working hours of 7.00am and 6.00pm on weekdays and 8.00am and 6.00pm on Saturdays. No work will be undertaken on Sundays or public holidays.

During this time, workers will be on site, but there will be minimal impact to traffic and no work will be done on private property.

Pedestrian access through the Bridgewater area to and from the pedestrian overpass will be maintained safely throughout the works.

Work in the Granton area will start in May.
