Changed traffic conditions on Old Main Road, Bridgewater – May 2023

As part of the New Bridgewater Bridge Project, the northern end of Old Main Road has been closed.

The closure of the connection from the northern end of Old Main Road to the Midland Highway is part of the final design and will facilitate other aspects of construction activities.

Clear and appropriate signage has been placed in the area to ensure that non-local motorists are aware of the changes, and local residents are asked to plan their journeys and use alternative routes where possible.

We understand that this may cause some inconvenience to residents and businesses in the area, and we apologise for any disruption that may occur.

The project team will continue to provide regular updates on the progress of the New Bridgewater Bridge Project, including any further disruptions that may occur.
