Removal of old Bridgewater Bridge

Because of its poor condition and increasing maintenance cost, the old Bridgewater Bridge will be removed. Work is expected to take place throughout 2026. The project is working closely with Heritage Tasmania and other key stakeholders to ensure that the history and significance of the bridge and surrounding area are appropriately recognised.
