Closure of Bridgewater Bridge lifting span

To facilitate the construction of the new Bridgewater Bridge, the Department of State Growth has closed the lifting span on the Bridgewater Bridge.

Travel past Bridgewater for taller vessels will be restricted until the project is completed in 2025.

Vessels under 2.2 metres on an average tide will be able to navigate under the existing bridge and temporary bridge, when it is safe to do so.
