Jobs

The project will create more than 200 new jobs for Tasmanians, with 25 per cent of those jobs to be recruited from the Brighton, Derwent Valley and Glenorchy local government areas.

The project is expected to generate an additional 637 indirect full time equivalent jobs.

A large amount of the project’s design and construction activities will be delivered through subcontracts and agreements for supply of different services.
